Clear answers to new rules, for companies without a compliance department

EU rules on pay transparency and cybersecurity reach companies with a few dozen employees. Most of them have no lawyer or compliance officer, and the texts run to dozens of pages. Aptiness turns those texts into short assessments: you answer how things work today and see what is missing and what to do first.

How we build the assessments

Every question is based on an article of the official text, and the article is named next to it. We don't paraphrase secondary summaries and we don't add requirements that are not in the text. The full method, including how the score is calculated, is described in the assessment methodology.

Who is behind Aptiness

Aptiness is run by the team behind Aptien, a cloud system that keeps employee records, policies with read confirmations, training, company assets, access rights and contracts in one place. The operator of this website is Aptien Labs s.r.o., Pobřežní 249/46, 186 00 Prague 8, Czech Republic, company ID 26397668.

Aptien is our product. We suggest it in the results where it genuinely helps with a gap — and say nothing where it doesn't, such as recruitment or technical security settings.

What Aptiness is not

The assessments are self-assessments, not legal advice or an audit, and they don't check the national law of any single country. For decisions about your company, check your national law or ask an adviser.
